Heavy rain, possibly severe storms on the way for the Gold Coast
The Gold Coast is on storm and flood watch today, with plenty of rain and possible storms on the way.
The Bureau is warning that up to 70 millimetres of rain will fall today, and up to another 50 millimetres is due tomorrow.
There are concerns the downpour could cause issues for local rivers and creeks, which are already saturated from recent rains.

Yes! There was an alert about bad weather situation last week. The weather is changing but it’s not worrying. The alert issued by the Meteorological Department has passed. The weather has turned quite cold in the Gold Coast. Weather will be far better in upcoming days and there is nothing to worry.
